LSCA Director Nominations

Rules were adopted at the May 21st meeting, in lieu of an amendment to the EDNA bylaws, for nominating directors to represent Lake Spivey Civic Association (LSCA) members living on Emerald Drive and Emerald Court residents on the LSCA board.  The rules are: 

LAKE SPIVEY CIVIC ASSOCIATION (LSCA) DIRECTORS

1. Nominations for Emerald Drive Directors may be made at the Association’s meetings in September and November.  
2. Nominees need not be members of the Association to be nominated as an LSCA Director. 
3. Where there are more nominees than open Director positions, the Association board will poll the Emerald Drive and Emerald Court LSCA members to select a final nominee(s) to present to the LSCA Nominating Committee. 
4. Directors must comply with and serve as required in the LSCA Bylaws. 
5. Should a Director(s) fail to serve their complete three (3) year term, the Association will organize a special poll to select a replacement Director to complete the term of the Director they replace.
